Thanks for visiting Ashtin Schue Photography to view my new website, and my first blog post! I have made the switch from Photobiz, after 15 years, to Showit.

Photobiz did host my galleries and allowed for contract signing, and session signup, but I wasn’t loving the designs available, and layouts, and how they transferred from cellphone versus computer view. I was also feeling jaded after spending $150 a month for their google analytics services for over a year, and getting copy and pasted monthly messages from them that weren’t personal from month to month; they weren’t actually doing their job. After calling them out on it, they did apologize and agree to their wrong doing, but I still suspended that service from them.

Showit does not offer galleries and contracts, etc. Their design features, and structure for designing cohesiveness between cellphone view and computer view, was so easy for me to understand, and get the hang of.

I am still finalizing who will be hosting my galleries for clients, but I will be getting that figured out this week, so my current clients can have their galleries ASAP. There are lots of great options for this, so I am weighing price versus benefits versus design.
